Christine Ricevuto

May 2025 will mark Christine's sixth anniversary as an adjunct professor at Mercy University. Prior to joining Mercy, she taught at The College of New Rochelle for over 15 years, giving her more than 21 years of teaching experience. Teaching in the School Psychology program allows her to share her love and passion for school psychology with students aspiring to enter this dynamic field. She believes that her experience as a school psychologist enhances her teaching and vice versa. Her work in school psychology has given her the privilege of supporting a diverse range of students, from early intervention through high school, including those in residential, special act, and public school settings.

Christine's educational journey has been unconventional, yet no more remarkable than that of the incredible graduate students she has had the pleasure of working with at Mercy. Except for her Associate's degree in Business from Berkeley Business School, she earned all of her degrees by attending evening and weekend classes while working full-time and raising her son and niece as a single parent.

Christine continues to be grateful to share her personal love of psychology by helping to prepare future school psychologists.
