James Fowler has been an adjunct professor at Mercy University since January 2025, teaching courses on criminal justice. He enjoys bringing his real-world experiences into the classroom to help students connect theory to practice.
Before teaching, James served in the NYPD and retired as a Sergeant assigned to various patrol duties, instructing recruits in police science, and in-service defensive tactics training. He then joined the FBI as a member of the Intelligence Division, working on both criminal and national security investigations
