  • Senior Instructor, Psychology
Joseph Morda

I have been a senior instructor in the Behavioral Science Department since 2002. During the last ten years I have taught graduate and undergraduate courses. They are graduate courses: Counseling Ethics, College Counseling, Internship I and II: Schooling Setting. The undergraduate courses: Sports Psychology, Introduction to Psychology, Child Psychology, Psychology of Adolescence. I understand and relate well to undergraduate students since I am a retired high school counselor.

I have extensive experience in interscholastic and intercollegiate sports. Some of which is over fifty years of refereeing soccer and basketball. Therefore Sports Psychology is a perfect match for me and the students.

While establishing a caring relationship with students, I have them see how the curriculum is practical in nature. As we study the material we use our critical thinking skills and public speaking ability.
