My name is Kayode Daramola (MSc. MBA). Over the years, I have been a Director and Executive Director of various social service agencies within the City of New York. All these are based on my vast experience in the provision of social services to families and children both in the United States and overseas, With decades of professional experience in the multi-disciplinary areas of Corrections, Social Service Delivery, Shelter management, Homelessness Diversion, Probation, Courts and Parole systems, I have diverse skill set that positions me to contribute meaningfully to students’ academic goals and objective.
I have been teaching as an adjunct instructor at Mercy University since 2017. I was one of the adjunct instructors that migrated from the College of New Rochelle when the two colleges merged. I started teaching at the College of New Rochelle about 24 years ago, to be precise spring of 2001.
Moreover, within the span of 24 years of teaching both in the College of New Rochelle and Mercy university. I have instructed students in the following courses: Introduction to Sociology, Deviant and Human Behavior, Substance Abuse/Dependency, HIV/AIDS, Counseling, Juvenile Justice system, Race, Culture and Ethnicity, Contemporary Social Issues, Social Inequality and Mobility in the Society, Sociology of Education, Domestic Violence, Sociology/Clinical Sociology, Cultural Diversity, Ethics and the Family, Introduction to Anthropology, Geriatrics Sociology, Sociology of the family, and Social Psychology.
Furthermore, I also instructed students in the areas of Business Administration and Management. Introduction to Business Administration, Introduction to Management, Principle of Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources Management, Strategic Management, Management communication and any other assigned courses in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
