Dr. Mary Knopp Kelly has been an integral part of Mercy University for 45 years, shaping the academic community with her leadership and dedication. As an Associate Professor, she has left a lasting impact through decades of innovation and commitment to education.
Over the years, Dr. Kelly has taken on a variety of key roles, including interim Dean, Program Director of the Graduate Psychology program, Director of Online Learning, and Chair of Social Work and Psychology. Her 20 years of service on the Faculty Senate reflect her passion for fostering collaboration and academic excellence across the university.

Her research interests focus on strategies to enhance structured learning environments. She co-authored the research journal Peer-Led Team Learning (PLTL), published in the Journal of Microbiology & Biology Education (Read the article).
