There will be a brief introduction of the Calm App, which Mercy University provides to all faculty and staff. This app now features an AI component designed to enhance your meditation experience while not having you engage much beyond reading a short reflective AI generated mindfulness exercise. We will demonstrate how this AI feature can be a valuable tool in beginning your mindfulness journey.
While the AI-guided meditations could be calming and insightful, it is equally important to recognize the value of unplugging and practicing mindfulness without a device. Our session will emphasize using these AI tools as initial templates to help you cultivate true mindfulness as you transition into device-free meditation practices.
