Mercy College Grad Ian Kerner in CNN Featured Article
Ian Kerner, M.S. ’14, recently wrote an article for CNN that explored the rituals in our lives. The article is entitled “Our lives are changing, again, and so must our rituals that give it meaning.” A licensed marriage and family therapist and contributor to CNN, Kerner suggested that we take stock of the rituals we developed during the COVID-19 pandemic and determine which suit our lives as we look forward. In the article, he quoted several therapists and clinicians, including family therapist Evan Imber-Black, Mercy College professor and program director of the Marriage and Family Therapy program.
